Jenn has been in Chicago for over 16 years now making theatre, and co-founded Halcyon Theatre with her husband Tony over 10 years ago. Crazy, right? She has cast extras as shadow characters behind a spandex wall for No Exit, created a strip show for Girl Gone, and turned actors into mountains in Caucasian Chalk Circle. With Halcyon, she directed the Inaugural production (The Visit), has directed twice while pregnant, watched her firstborn take his first steps in the rehearsal room, took people on a magical ride to the Source of Stories (Haroun and the Sea of Stories), has been held captive by a wolf (Trickster), worked on a new play that was inspired by a classic play by a woman (The Invaders), sent a human chain across the river (The Other Shore), brought people down from the moon singing Katy Perry and Black Eyed Peas (Emperor of the Moon), and sung a medley of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin in a period drama (The Wild Duck). And now she gets to work with a playwright living in her home state of Maine, and listen to Maine accents and help incredible artists do what they do best, and try not to get homesick for the ocean.
