Whether acting, directing, or stage-managing, Arlicia McClain is always excited to stick her hands into the art. After receiving her BA in Theater from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, she soon began performing in productions throughout Chicago and Carbondale, IL. She is currently a Halcyon resident with a focus in directing. Arlicia is grateful for this opportunity to work with Halcyon Theatre on this production. She is thankful to God for using art to “teach life” and thankful to her family and friends for all their support. Acting credits include For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuf, Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Lucentio in Taming of the Shrew and Rashida in Saddam's Lion.
